Abstract
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between the Craniovertebral angle(CVA) and the site of herniation of single level cervical intervertebral disc.

Methods : This study was carried out to 265 patients with Cervical disc herniation diagnosed by M.R.I, who have visited Bu-Chun Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine with neck pain. We took Cervical spine x-ray films and measured their CVA. The degree of Forward Head Posture(FHP) was assessed by the CVA. We then analyzed the relationship between CVA and the site of herniation of the single level cervical intervertebral disc.

Results : There was no significant correlation between CVA and the site of herniation of single level cervical intervertebral disc. compared to normal group, patients with cervical disc herniation have no significant correlation between CVA and age. male disc hernation patients have a smaller CVA than female disc herniation patients, though normal group shows difference.

Conclusions : There was no significant correlation between the CVA and the site of herniation of single level cervical intervertebral disc.
